Blogging for Retail Dollars in MLM

Do you blog?

While I don`t want to bore you with how to blog stuff, blogging is something you should consider. Obviously if you don`t know much about blogging you can some research on Google on find a ton of information.

The first thing you must realize is that people are actually searching for your products. They want to buy it. Not your business opportunity but what you actually sell. Sometimes it is by the brand name. Sometimes it`s just by the general type of product you offer.

With a blog, you are able to get information in front of potential customers that you might not be able to reach otherwise. You have more opportunity to be found in search engines and it provides a way to build a relationship and trust with past and future customers.

Of course having a blog that produces results requires writing. So what would you have to write about?

Well you could write about upcoming products that have not been released yet. By doing this you could have interested people just waiting to buy as soon as it`s available.

You can do the same thing with new products that have been released. Or how about new and improved?

You can include customer testimonials. You can talk about how your products have been used in ways that they were not designed for. And the benefits from it.

You can describe your personal feelings about your products. What you like about them. Even stuff you don`t like.

For example I gave a bottle of stuff to my friend that was designed to help some people to quit smoking. It didn`t help. It only made his cigarettes taste worse.

I can`t in good faith suggest anyone buy that product. At least not right now. But by writing about the experience, and saying I do not recommend it I`m building trust.

By building this trust people are more likely to check with me when they want a certain type of product. And buy from me.

No, this is not some new and fancy technique to trick people into becoming customers. You don`t want to do that. This is just basic business common sense. And it works.

Create Your Own Retail Website

When it comes to retailing products most mlm companies stink. They always seem to talk about how great and smart the CEO is. They show a picture of their big ass building. They talk about the comp plan. That they are debt free. And on and on and on.

This might be okay for recruiting, but for retailing your products it`s not that great. Your customers will think so what?

If you study websites you`ll see they often start with a headline that has the visitor wanting to read more. The sales pages describe the benefits of using the products. They have images of happy people enjoying life. There are customer testimonies. and of course a link to buy the product.

Now there is a good chance you do not have such websites. But that does not mean you can`t create your own.

When it comes to retailing, you have to think like a customer. What do they really want? Do they want a diet product? No. They want to look thin. Do they want an anti wrinkle product? No. They want to look younger with smooth skin.

These are benefits.

So what you can do is create a webpage that decribes the benefits of your product. Describe what life will be like after using your product. You can find images that help say what you are trying to express. ( though don`t use too many).

Talk with satisfied customers. Also talk with happy upline / downline members that love the product. Get them to write a testimony about how their lives have improved after using your product.

Then provide a link to your company`s main order page that has your member id.

You don`t really have to be all that fancy. Chances are anything you do will be better than what you have right now.

Give it a try.
