Law of Reciprocity | Internet Business Coaching by Terry Dean

September 15th, 2007 by Jeff Neil

Law of Reciprocity | Internet Business Coaching by Terry Dean

I just discovered this post. Actually the whole blog, run by none other than Terry Dean.

As a network marketer it’s a good chance you have not heard of Terry.

Terry is an information marketer. Hmm, so am I. But the difference is I combine them. And I suggest you do to.

Why, you ask?

Well, because that’s what all those Big Fish heavy hitters do. They sell information first. Or at least on the side.

Joe Schroeder
Big Al
Ann Seig
Dale Calvert
Mike Dillard

Man, this could be a long list, but I think you get the point.

And I am sharing what they are doing, how they are earning money FROM you, and how you can use the same tactics over at MLM Content Tactics

But let me get back to Terry.

Terry Dean sold me the first information marketing package I ever bought. Back in …

That time frame.

Terry personally helped me build my first lead capture page. Terry was the first person to ever send me a check for money I earned online

He is the person that introduced me to Scientific Advertising

Back then we did not have blogs, RSS, all this web 2.0 stuff. But most of what he taught me back then STILL works today. So, as I have been known to say, if all this tecnical stuff scares you don’t worry.

You can do very well for yourself with just basic marketing principles

I am excited to introduce you to Terry Dean because the last I knew he retired. Haven’t heard from or about him in ages. I am looking forward to reading more of his stuff and highly suggest that you do to.

So in this post he linked to he talks about The Law of Reciprocity

Something Joe Schroeder talks about frequently in his Warrior’s Nest Manual

Which is the best $97 I have ever spent (sorry Terry) on a marketing course

So learn from Terry Dean. Learn from Joe Schroeder.

Learn from me what I learn from them (and other marketing masters) at NicheMarketing.biz

How to Control Content Dale Calvert Case Study

August 23rd, 2007 by Jeff Neil

For my MLM Content Tactics subscribers I am doing a case study of Dale Calvert’s MLM Today 2008 ebook that sells for $9

I can’t tell you how much money he made so far or subscribers he has added to his list. I do not know Dale. Only OF him.

But what I will do, with your permission, is show you what he did and why he did it. How he benefits from other people selling it, and why it works.

Dale Calvert is a network marketing legend. But that does NOT mean that you cannot benefit from creating and selling, or even just giving away your own ebook.

You can do this. I am living proof. And once you have an ebook people will look at you in a different way. With more respect. People will give that ebook away, or sell it, depending on how you set it up.

And those people will look at you differently. That alone will help you enroll more people into your opportunity. Because nobody else is doing that.

It makes you look powerful. Like it did for my friend Julieanne. And I dare say it will make you FEEL powerful.

You have heard this before, but it is worth repeating. Everything you want is outside of your comfort zone. And everytime you move out of your comfort zone you take a GIANT step closer to what you do want. Think about that.

You don’t have to write Gone With the Wind. In fact, it is possible to have your own ebook even if you can’t write a thank you note. I’ll show you an example of what I did later.

Joe Schroeder says “You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

Jay Abraham says “Your product will never be worse than it is right now.

I’ll get off my soap box now. But if you don’t quite feel ready, or just do not have the time  will do the work for you. Quickly and affordable at Instant MLM Author

Let’s begin, shall we?

The rest is for subscribers only

August 9th, 2007 by Jeff Neil

Giving away ebooks:

Two years ago a created an ebook that was written by Wallace Wattles in

I think….  1911

Don’t quote me on that though.

I added a short introduction, and image of another ebook, a link,
and a headline that said  Save $10

I just gave the ebook away and it STILL produces sales

CRAZY

Content can be very viral.

As in…

you give it away and OTHER people will give it away too.

Even if WordPress does want to mangle the format.
Jeff

Remember your first ezine issue? Crossing your toes, hoping and praying
no one unsubscribes? You probably made it. You got through that first issue
unscathed. No bumps and bruises here kid.

Pretty easy, huh?

But as your subscriber list grew you lost them. People began to unsubscribe.
You lost your confidence. You tried something different. Yet they still
unsubscribed. Know what you did wrong?

You wrote.

Not writing is the only way to not have people unsubscribe. People unsubscribe
for a variety of reasons. Often it..s not even because of you. Their inbox is too
full, not enough time, or they just had a bad hair day.

But maybe they don..t like your opinion. “Opinion”? Why would you voice your
opinion? Opinions are like…. Well you..ve heard the saying. We all have them.
Not good ones. Not bad ones. Just our own opinions. Opinions that get read.

Yes, opinions get read. And readers will disagree. Some will even unsubscribe.
But for every person you lose, you gain. Other readers will agree with your
thoughts and provide feedback.

Print it. They..ll be looking for it. We enjoy recognition from our peers and will
come back for more.

Ever listen to talk radio? More than once? A talk radio show is based on opinions.
Opinions of the host backed by statements of fact. At least as they see it.

A lot can be learned from a talk show. Talk shows such as Howie Carr’s “the Howie
Carr Show” http://delta.wrko.com/station_pages/talkingHowie.jhtml keep loyal
listeners returning for more.

Howie Carr voices his opinion and gladly shares it with his listeners. His loyal
listeners call to voice their opinions. They want to be heard. They provide the
feedback. Feedback. We all want more feedback.

Popular website “Epinions” http://www.epinions.com/ is based on opinions.

Valued opinions based on personal experiences. Writers give reviews of products
they have used. Sharing their opinions with readers to help make a buying decision.

Epinion visitors keep going back for more. They learn to respect and trust the
opinions of certain writers. Isn..t that what we want? Our readers to trust our
opinions when we recommend a service or product?

Do you participate in forums? The discussions are based on opinions. Opinions
backed by facts. Facts that the poster has experienced. By posting on forums
you earn trust and respect. Trust that leads to traffic. Traffic that leads to
subscribers. Subscribers that lead to readers. Do you see a pattern here?

By letting your opinions be known, your readers will get to know you. They will
learn to trust you. And they will buy from you. Or they will stop reading and
unsubscribe.

But don..t confuse an opinion with a theory. Opinions are based on facts.
Facts that you have experienced. Theories are nothing but guesses. Who
wants to hear your guesses?

Voice your opinions as they relate to your topic. And Keep unrelated opinions
to yourself. Your readers may value your opinion about marketing. But may not
like your opinions about anything else. It is impossible to keep everyone reading.
Don..t give them more reason not too.

Opinions keep readers reading. Readers give feedback. Printed feedback creates
more feedback. More feedback creates more readers. Readers create income.
Ain..t it an awesome circle?

Well that..s my opinion. What..s yours?

Do Network Marketers REALLY Want to Make Money?

August 8th, 2007 by Jeff Neil

I do not get it.

I really don’t.
I don’t like being sarcastic. I don’t like sounding like
some Know-it-all

JERK

But this just bugs the bazookas out of me.
Network Marketers.

They say they join an opportunity to increase their income.

Some want to go fulltime. Others are happy with just a few
hundred extra bucks each month.

Nothing wrong with either goal.

BUT

I think most network marketers are only PRETENDING
they want to make money. I think most are even trying
to fool themselves.

I really do.

I know you’ve heard this….

“I’m just going to SAVE THE WORLD by sharing my
Tootie Fruity Lose Your Booty Juice with everyone…

That Dr. SO-and-SO says blah, blah, blah….

That’s admirable. But how can anyone save the world
when they can’t even save their own families?

You know as well as I do that for most people this industry
is tough. You know that most people don’t make it.

If you look at statistics, they would say the odds are
against you.

But it’s not the odds…

It is you, that is against you.

Well maybe not you, but someone you know is against
themselves.

First of all, people don’t want to invest in their future.
In their marketing education.

They just want to listen to their sponsor, who probably
knows NOTHING about marketing.

And then wonder why their results suck.

So if you only do what your sponsor tells you to do,
you are LIMITED by what your sponsor knows HOW to
do.

What kind of limits are you allowing?

And then there are those people who run around
saying

“HELP ME”

“SAVE ME”

And of course they get offered help. That’s what happens
in this industry. WE try to help people.

Even for free…

Yet that person begging to be helped won’t take action
when given sound advice.

Does that sound like someone that WANTS to make
money? Not to me.

Do you see all the opportunity that is available to us.
Just waiting to be grabbed?

Like Instant MLM Author?

Or daring to SELL MLM Leads?

People buy training and leads all day. Everyday.
Doesn’t it make sense to sell what people
ALREADY want to buy.

Do you think you have to convince people to buy
what they already plan to?

Silly Wabbit!

You don’t.
